So, there I was, casually strolling through Asda after work and what caught my eye? Well, nothing other than a Pot Curry! "What's this?" I cried, rushing to the shelf in delight.
Mmm, the wonders of Indian cuisine, in a pot. Naturally I couldn't wait to try this feast.
I got it home and frantically ripped off the lid to reveal... a Pot Rice! Well, what else was I expecting? So I filled it up with hot water and waited. It turned a sort of deep red colour, which didn't look very inviting but I was determined to see this through to the bitter end.
After waiting for the appropriate time I added the sachet of Spicy sauce and got ready to tuck in. As with a Pot Rice, the rice is never done and resembles packing material in texture and taste but the actual Masala-ness wasn't too bad. Pleasantly spicy... not a bad effort. Oooh, and the pot is a lovely purple colour.
